Abstracts Submission




Deadline - September 13th, 2013

We only accept abstract sent by the online system, therefore you should be registered.

Please, do not let to send your abstract on deadline day, because the system may get overloaded.
The author can send only 2 abstracts. To send a third abstract, another author must be registered.

1) Text should be written in English (make sure it does not contain spelling or grammar mistakes)
2) Limit text to 250 words
3) Abstract should contain background, aims, methods, results, conclusion and information on ethical approval and funding support
4) Use arial font 10. The system does not accept tables.
5) Title, authors names and affiliations, contact details and disclosures are not included in word counting. This information should be sent only in the attached file (doc or docx)

Listing of authors
• Full name, affiliation(s), and complete mailing address of all authors should be provided. This information must be included in the abstract file (doc or docx).
• The name and address of the presenting author and the corresponding author during the selection stage should be underlined, together with their email and telephone contact details. This information must be included in the abstract file (doc or docx).
• All authors should disclose any financial or personal relationships with individuals or organizations that could be perceived to bias their work. All sources of funding should also be declared.
The author should be registered for the Congress before sending the abstract.

Oral Presentation
All students and posdocs that submit their abstracts are prone to be selected to the oral presentation, as long as they are first author. The abstracts are going to be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, which will select the studies for presentation. The decision of the Scientific Committee will be announced by email. The selected abstracts should be orally presented in a compatible format with Microsoft Powerpoint and also as a poster. A few selected abstracts will be invited to participate in different symposia. The selected speakers will have 10 minutes to present their studies.

Prizes: the best oral presentations will be awarded by the Organizing committee

Poster presentation

1) Design as portrait posters at dimension: 90 x 120 cm
2) Poster should be written in English and contain the abstract submitted
3) Presenting author name should be written in bold font
4) The poster should be hanged according to ID number
5) Schedules for posters sessions will announced in the Program, please check and confirm your number
6) Please bring the necessary material to hang your poster


Abstract evaluation will be performed in 2 different ocasions, so that participants may have the acceptance letter for abstracts earlier.
