Amanda Christina Bukahi earned a degree in Hotel Management from Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro and a graduate degree in Marketing from IAG - PUC/RJ. From 1999 to 2000, Bukahi worked at Hotel Copacabana Palace and Hotel Caesar Park Ipanema, both in Rio de Janeiro. In 2001, she began her career in event organization, where she was responsible for the marketing of event booths, sponsorships and satellite symposiums. Her expertise in event fundraising is the highlight of her professional career. Bukahi is fluent in English and French.
The following are some of the events she has organized: 4th French-Brazilian Oncology Congress (2006); 2nd International Symposium of Advanced Therapies and Stem Cells (2007); Rio de Janeiro Neurological Congress (2008) and 12th Brazilian Society Congress of Bone Marrow Transplant (2008).
Renata Cesario Alvim de Arruda earned a degree in Tourism from UniverCidade College in Rio de Janeiro and also earned a graduate degree in Marketing from IAG - PUC/RJ. She is also trained in the Project Management theories of the Project Management Institute (PMI). In 1999, she worked at the Les Calanques Hotel in France. In 2000, as a Project Manager, Arruda was responsible for coordinating and assisting the entire organization process of events such as the 10th Annual International Corporate Governance Network (2004); 17th World Petroleum Congress (2002 - Scientific Dept.); Brazilian Cephalgia Congress (2001 to 2009); IOF - World Congress on Osteoporosis (2004) with 4,500 attendees; 3rd International AIDS Conference (2005) with 6,000 attendees. In 2001, she was awarded with a course at the 5th Forum for Young Professionals, organized by the International Conference and Convention Association (ICCA) in Geneva. Arruda is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
